We first opened our store at 1406 S Bus Hwy 54 in Eldon, MO.  Our first location was limited in space, leaving us to cramped shelving and only a single freezer and cooler. In November of 2007, we chose to expand and give our customers more options, thus relocating to our current location two blocks north of our old building.

So, why did we decide to open a health food store in Eldon, MO? Angela Bashore, born and raised in Eldon (class of '91), after much discussion and support from her husband Tim, decided it was time to start giving back to the community in the best way she thought she could; by helping her hometown and surrounding area help themselves and give people the options to have a healthier lifestyle and bring them closer to nature's bounty. Thus, the idea of Nature's Source was born.

When Angie isn't behind the counter, you're likely to find one of her two sons or her husband Tim. Both sons currently college students, they assist with the store in their spare time. Alex is a physics major at Truman State University, and Austin is a business major at Ozark Technical Community College.
